I work as a patent attorney at Genip Oy, based in our Kotka office. I hold a Master of Science in Energy Technology and have been involved in intellectual property for many years.<\/p>\n

Before entering the field, I worked as a research and development engineer and as a product development manager in the paper machine industry. I\u2019ve also worked as a patent engineer in the industrial sector, which has given me a solid understanding of IP protection needs from a company\u2019s perspective. My work has covered areas such as energy technology, fluidized bed combustion and gasification, internal combustion engines, pumps, emission reduction technologies, marine technology, pulp and paper machinery and processes, locking technologies, and paper finishing.<\/p>\n

My approach to work is based on thoroughness and a business-oriented mindset. I believe that strong protection starts with high-quality work \u2013 but it\u2019s equally important that the client clearly understands the situation and the recommended actions. I always aim to avoid overly complex technical jargon and to communicate in a way that supports the client\u2019s decision-making as effectively as possible.<\/p>\n
