I have been working as an IP specialist at Genip Oy Varkaus office since 2009.<\/p>\n

I started in the field of IP business 1987, first working as a translator-correspondent, then as a patent assistant at the patent department of A. Ahlsr\u00f6m Osakeyhti\u00f6. 1995 I joined Foster Wheeler Energia Oy to start up the patent department of the company and served there until 2004.<\/p>\n

Between 2005 and 2008, I worked as an IP assistant at the patent department of Ahlstr\u00f6m Karhulan Palvelut Oy (later Coor Service Management Karhula Oy) until joining Genip Oy.<\/p>\n

I hold a degree of Master of Arts from the University of Turku (1990), majoring in English Philology and minoring in German Philology and International Law.<\/p>\n

I passed the European Patent Administration Certification examination (EPAC) successfully in December 2022, when the examination took place for the first time.<\/p>\n

After more than 35 years in this business, I still find the work fascinating and my own. I enjoy and value working with our clients and with patent agencies both in Finland and worldwide.<\/p>\n

I am fluent in Finnish, English, German, and Swedish.<\/p>\n
